The Name-Address Directory
(NAD
or ND)
is used to find out the name, address, and other information for
the three-letter codes of libraries subcribing to OCLC
services.
This is useful when:
In the
Union
List mode:
You want to find out what
libraries have a particular serial.
In the
Inter-Library
Loan mode:
You want to find out what
libraries have a particular book or other item.
You want to check out a
library's ILL policies when requesting an inter-library
loan.
How to get into
NAD
Type
cho nd
<control> <c>
Type a
NAD
colon "
:
" command, which will kick
you automatically into ND.
Note: An "ND" will appear in the
upper-right-hand corner of the display when you are in the
NAD.
