Scope

Major Display Commands include:

FUNCTION/ COMMAND

BRIEF FORM

WHAT IT DOES

Display a "Phrase"

Just type the #

Displays whatever is linked to the Phrase.

Display a Group

dis gn

Display specified group of results or groups (Eg.: dis g3,g5)

Display from a List

dis n,n-n

Display specified numbers from a list of records

Display formats

tr, br, fu

Can be used with Group, List, or individual record displays.

  • tr (truncated) is a series of lines
  • br (brief) is a citation format
  • fu (full) is the complete MARC record

Display Holdings

dh

dha (all holdings)

dhr (for region)

dhs (for your state)

Display the holdings at:

  • All libraries (dha)
  • Libraries in a region (dhr)
  • Libraries within a state(dhs)

This is done for:

  • The record you are in
  • For records from a list (dis n,n-n,n dh)
