PRISM - Title Phrase Search

Notes:

• Do not use an initial "a," "an," or "the" in a title.
• The Searching the Online Union Catalog Reference Card provides information on how to treat letters, numbers, diacritics, and special characters in entering a Title Phrase search.
• The Title Phrase search can only use the scan ("sca") command.

Format

Scan Command	Title Phrase Index Label	Title Phrase
sca	ti	moby dick <^c>

• This takes the searcher to the part of the Title Phrase Index where the title "Moby Dick" occurs.
• The closest match to the search title phrase is highlighted.
• Select the number that matches the desired search title phrase and push <^c>
• A Full, Brief, or Truncated record or Group display is brought up.
• Select the desired record or Group and type in the number <^c>
