Scope
"Library Resources"
These are the general bibliographic catalogs from which end-users utilize for such processes as catalog records (copy cataloging), interlibrary loan, authority resolution, and research. Links to general information on each of them may be found at: http://www.rlg.org/libres.html.
"Citation Resources " (also known as CitaDel databases)
These databases consist largely of collections of articles from such sources as journals, newspapers, conference proceedings,and dissertations. Links to general information on each of them may be found at: http://www.rlg.org/citadel.html.
"Archival Resources"
The RLG Union Catalog contains numerous archives of original materials, including letters, original manuscripts, unpulbished notes, oral histories, and organization and government records. An introduction to the archival resources is at http://www.rlg.org/arr/index.html.
AMICO Library
This is a collection of about 80,000 high-resolution images of paintings, sculptures, prints, drawings, photographs, and "craft" items from major museums.
Cultural Materials Initiative
This is an attempt to digitize and integrate primary source and cultural materials from archives around the world. documents, photos, art, memorabilia, even sounds, films, and videos from archives around the world.
