Service
Scope
The RLIN bibliographic database
service were created to provide for the research needs of RLG's
member academic, research, and other institutions as well as for
cataloging, interlibrary loan, archival, and manuscript control
applications.
The RLIN interface provides
access to RLG databases that contain records for Books,
Serials,
Audio and video recordings and
films, Maps,
Computer files,
Manuscripts and
all kinds of Archival
Naterials.
Databases
The primary database is the RLG
Union Catalog, which has bibliographic files (catalog records) for
about 130 million items.
