Searching RLIN & Eureka: Indexes/Fields That Can Be Searched

Scope

• RLIN & Eureka interfaces offer a wide range of indexes/fields that can be searched.
• Some of the indexes are specific to the individual interfaces (RLIN or EUREKA) and are specific to certain files (databases) andot available to others.

To see a list of Indexes in general, type:

• show ind <ret>
• This will also show which Bibliographic Files the indexes are used in depending upon which interface you are in.

To see a list of Indexes for specific files

show ind filename <ret>
Examples:	show ind nla (National Library of Australia) show ind est (English Short Title Collection)

"Local" Indexes

• Indexes that are used by employees in a member institution of RLIN to search that institution's local records in RLIN.
