Searching Rlin: How to Start a Search

RLIN uses a Command-driven search facility.

• Example:
  • fin pn steven king

The standard Search Statement Format Formula:

find <index> <value>

• "Value" is the search term or terms
• Examples:
  • fin pn barnes, clive
  • fin tp once upon a time in the#

Issuing multiple commands

• Sequential commands can be "stacked" in a single statement, with each command separated by a forward slash: /
• Example:
  • sel fil bks / fin pn steven king
