- Check this box to
limit results to records that provide the full
text.
- Local
Titles
- Check this box to
limit results to articles available at your own
library.
- This may not be
available depending on whether:
- You are accessing
the trial Web site.
- If the local
library has provided EBSCO with the details of the
library's periodical collection.
- Magazine
- Enter a journal,
magazine, or newspaper name in this field to limit
results to articles only from that specific
publication.
- You can find out
what periodicals are in the database by clicking on
the Magazine Search
button and searching the magazine
index.
- Date
Published
- Use the date
fields to search for articles within a specified
date range.
- Create a range by
using the pull down to specify the months of the
range and enter the last two digits of the year in
the entry fields to specify the years of the range.

Limits
- Number of
Pages
- Enter a number in
this field to limit results to a specific number of
pages in length. Place the < (less-than) or >
(greater-than) symbol before the number to search
for articles with a specific page length range. For
example: to search for articles that are "greater
than" three pages in length, enter >3 in this
field.
- Cover Story
- Check this box to
limit results to articles that were featured as
cover stories.
- Illustrations
- Check this box to
limit results to articles with illustrations.
- Publication

- Check this box to
limit results specifically to one of the
following:
- Books
- Periodicals
- Pamphets
- Newspaper
- Newswire
- Transcript
- Government
Document
- Peer
Reviewed
- Peer-reviewed
articles are those, usually in academic or
professional publications, that the publication's
editors have had reviewed by peers in the writer's
profession for:
- Accuracy
- Validity of
contentions or research
- Quality of
methods and research discussed.
- Thus, this is a
way of finding articles more likely to be of high
quality in terms of content and
assertions.
