Definition

• Relevance searching enables the search of controlled indexes of fields.
• It searches for words and/or phrases plus:
  • Their variants.
  • Synonymous or related terms and/or phrases.
• Consequently, you increase your recall, but you may lose some degree of precision.
• You can also use Booleans.

• - (minus, which requires that all documents be excluded and not returned if they contain the word or phrase following the minus)
