Scope

• The equivalent of the print edition, Bowker's (now a division of Reed-Elsevier) Books in Print (BIP) now has an online version that contains the about 3.4 million or so books in print in the United States
• The database also contains:
  • Searchable bibliographic and subject information on the books
  • More than 350,000 full-text reviews, most acquired from other sources.

• The database is accessible from Bowker, but requires a subscription.
