Definition
Often we need to search a library
catalog or database for a phrase, such as the title of a
book.
Most library catalogs have an
option that allows for search for a title, but it usually searches
for each individual term in entered into the search field.
Sometimes, we need to search for
those terms in order, in a "phrase."
SIRSI Unicorn allows this through
the use of paired single
quotes '
'.
Usage of Paired

Single quotes

are used to enclose a
phrase which you wish to search for exactly
as you type it ("phrase searching").
