Scope
The
find
command (you can just use the letter
"
f
"
) is the basic Search Command in MELVYL.
You use it to locate records for books, periodical titles, and comments.
You issue the command in the following manner:
find
[index] [search words]
The index tells the MELVYL system what kind of search to do. For example:
find su
[subject]
libraries
find tw
[title words]
art

[author]
